Module 2

Module 2

Pink Petunia axillaris

My roommate planted this flower last semester and it has seen great progress.  It's so exciting to finally be able to explain the flower scientifically.  I can also do more research now and help her with the growth!

Ilex aquifolium

My landlord said he planted this when he first bought the house over 30 years ago and they are still growing perfectly! My roommates and I actually laughed when I told them I was choosing this for part of my project because the leaves fall to the ground and drives us nuts because they're so spiky that they actually make it difficult to walk in our backyard without shoes! My roommate also loves it because it reminds her of christmas all year round!
